1. Michaela Coel
Michaela Coel’s outstanding career proves that there is so much you can achieve despite challenges on the way! Coel is a leader in the film industry. Accomplished director, screenwriter and actress, she is also a creator of “Chewing Gum” and the famous “I May Destroy You.”
2. Hannah Arendt
Famous philosopher, thinker, professor, writer, and reporter, Hannah is the author of “The Origins of Totalitarianism.” Her reporting also appeared in New Yorker, among other publications, and you can read some of her work here.
3. Maryam Mirzakhani
Extraordinary woman, an outstanding mathematician, first female Fields Medalist, and the only woman who won the medal so far, Maryam Mirzakhani had an enormous influence on mathematics and science. One of the top Iranian scientists, Maryam died of breast cancer at the age of 40.
