Joanna Socha is the founder and editor-in-chief of W Insight. She oversees the editorial and creative sides of the website. Joanna is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a VP of the Columbia Club of Poland. Experienced in business journalism and a contributor to business and financial publications, she enjoys talking to people and constantly learning something new. In 2021, Joanna was shortlisted for the FT & McKinsey Bracken Bower Prize. She believes that everyone has a story to tell and it gives her the biggest satisfaction to present those stories in an original angle. Joanna is based in Warsaw. Twitter: @joa_soc

Diana Asatryan contributes to the project by writing and editing materials for W Insight. Diana is based in New York City, and is currently a journalist covering finance and financial technology. She is a graduate of Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. An advocate of women executives in finance, Diana hopes to bring their work to the spotlight through W Insight. Twitter: @DinaAsat

Phyllis Zych Budka is an advisor and editor for W Insight. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language, and received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.  During her years at Union, she developed an interest in nickel-iron and stony-iron meteorites and has published many articles on the results of her research. In retirement, her interest in genealogy and local family history has grown.  Many trips to Poland and Lithuania have helped to discover her ancestral history and build connections and friendships, which continue with the help of the internet.  Phyllis lives in Schenectady, New York, USA.

Aga Rogowska is a contributing translator and editor for W Insight. She studied English Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and did Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Warsaw. She translates online content for film festivals, magazines and non-profit organizations. She is also a manager at a fintech company.
